I'm new to gaming on PC but I've had my first really good computer for just over two months now. I started playing Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor a couple of days ago and I'm enjoying it as much as I can but I suffer from a condition called stupid fingers. Anyways, I bought a gamestop branded wired xbox 360 controller and even after installing the drivers and reading a bunch of forums I couldn't figure it out. I went back to Gamestop returned it and bought the Afterglow 360 wired controller after reading that that one should definitely work and I still can't get it to work. I don't know if this will help but my cpu is the i7 4790k on the z97-p board, 16gb ram and a 4gb gtx 770. I would really appreciate if someone could help me I'm getting really frustrated trying to figure this out on my own and usually I'm pretty good at that. I'm running Windows 7 64bit by the way.
